Pixel Themes provides digital theme products under the terms below, which may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. All products are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

License Terms

When you buy a theme from Pixel Themes, you are granted one of the following licenses. The license that applies is the one you select at checkout.

Regular License

The Regular License allows you to:

  • Use the theme to build one single website
  • Install the theme on one domain
  • Install the theme in a staging or development environment for that same website

Under the Regular License you may not:

  • Distribute, share, or resell the theme in its original or modified form
  • Transfer the license to another person or organization
  • Make the theme available for public download or redistribution

If you need to use a theme on more than one website, please purchase the Extended License.

Extended License

The Extended License allows you to:

  • Use the theme on unlimited websites, whether personal or commercial
  • Install and modify the theme for your own projects or client work
  • Use the theme across multiple brands or businesses that you own

Under the Extended License you may not:

  • Resell or redistribute the theme in its original or modified form
  • Offer the theme as part of another product, template, or package
  • Claim authorship or ownership of the theme’s design or source code

Ownership and Intellectual Property

All themes, designs, source code, and assets sold on this website remain the property of Pixel Themes. Purchasing a license grants you limited rights to use the theme — it does not transfer ownership to you. You may not claim ownership of any of our products, whether modified or unmodified.

Brand Usage

You may not use our logo, brand name, demo images, or screenshots without our prior written permission. You may make a plain-text reference to “Pixel Themes” for factual identification only — for example, stating that your site was built with a Pixel Themes theme — provided it does not imply any partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement.

Theme Updates

Every theme purchase includes free updates for the lifetime of that product. Updates may include bug fixes, feature improvements, and compatibility adjustments for newer versions of Ghost. Each update is accompanied by a changelog describing what has changed.

Theme Support

Each purchase includes access to our documentation and email-based support to help you set up and use your theme.

Support includes:

  • Help with installing and configuring the theme
  • Guidance on the theme’s built-in features
  • Fixes for genuine bugs in the original theme

Support does not include:

  • Custom development or changes beyond the theme’s advertised features
  • Installing theme updates on your behalf
  • Setting up or troubleshooting your hosting or your Ghost installation

We aim to make sure your theme works as described. For custom work, we recommend hiring a developer.

Payment

All payments are processed securely by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases made through our website. We do not collect or store any payment card information. Paddle handles payment processing, taxes, and invoicing under its own terms and privacy policy.

Refunds

Our themes are digital products delivered electronically. Please see our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Warranties

We develop and maintain our themes in line with current web standards and test them against the latest stable versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Where a feature is not technically possible due to a browser or platform limitation, we will offer a reasonable alternative where we can. Our products are otherwise provided “as is”.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixel Themes and its owner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of profits, data, or business interruption — arising from the use of, or inability to use, our website or products.

We are not responsible for:

  • Issues caused by incorrect installation or modification of a theme
  • Conflicts caused by third-party apps, services, or code
  • Problems arising from outdated Ghost versions or browsers
  • Errors introduced by your own customizations

Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the product that gave rise to the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. The latest version will always be posted on this page, and continued use of our website or products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
